This concert is the culminating event of the Music + Healing Initiative, a weeklong series of events at Mount Saint Mary’s University exploring the question: How does sound shape the way we heal? The Initiative and concert honors the legacy of Sister Callista Roy nurses, and all healers. Sister Callista Roy, a highly respected nurse theorist, researcher, and teacher celebrates her 87th birthday on October 14, 2026. She is considered among nursing’s greatest living thinkers.

Bridge to Everywhere is a Los Angeles-based transcultural music ensemble and nonprofit arts organization that explores connections between contemporary musical practices from around the world.
9:00pm – Jon Armstrong’s Voluntary Breath
featuring the Bridge to Everywhere ensemble
Jonathan Armstrong is a musician, composer, and educator serving as the Director of Jazz Studies and Commercial Music at Idaho State University. He moved to Pocatello in 2015 after living and working as a professional musician in Los Angeles for nine years.
